i asked my TA for letters of rec for my study abroad app and in the email i sent him i specifically wrote that the instructions say NOT TO MENTION THE HOST CITY/UNIVERSITY I WANT TO GO TO
and he gave me four sealed envelopes today and out of curiosity i opened one and lo and behold he mentions the city and university i’m applying to on the second sentece
